  • 2 whole Chicken breasts

  • 0.5 tsp Salt

  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

  • 0.5 cup (120 g) Pesto

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) for convection or 425°F (220°C) for conventional bake.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. Drizzle both sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  5. Place seasoned chicken on the parchment-lined pan.
  6. Spread pesto evenly over the top of each breast.
  7. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
