2 whole Chicken breasts
0.5 tsp Salt
0.25 tsp Black pepper
0.5 cup (120 g) Pesto
1 tbsp Olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C) for convection or 425°F (220°C) for conventional bake.
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- Drizzle both sides with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Place seasoned chicken on the parchment-lined pan.
- Spread pesto evenly over the top of each breast.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
