Clam Sauce with Linguine

Pasta
1 lb Whole Wheat Linguine
Sauce
1 Medium Yellow Onion chopped
6 Count Garlic Cloves chopped
3 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
26 oz Minced Clams in Can
0.5 cups Butter Substitute
1 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
Garnish
1 (Count) Fresh Parsley
Directions
- Salt Water and bring to a boil. Cook pasta to package instructions
- In a large skillet add the oil and saute the onions and garlic until translucent.
- Drain clams, reserving half the juice.
- Add reserved juice and rest of ingredients to pot.
- Optionally add a cup or two of starchy pasta water to pan.
- Reduce to sauce like thickness. If you added pasta water you may have to increase heat and stir to have everything done quickly
