Ingredients

  • 5 lb Apples

Spices

  • 1 rounded tsp Cinnamon

  • 0.5 rounded tsp Ginger

  • 0.25 rounded tsp Ground Clove

Directions

  1. Wash, core, and cut the apples into large chunks.
  2. Place the apple chunks into a 6-quart slow cooker.
  3. Add the cinnamon, ginger, and ground clove to the apples.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 2-4 hours, or until the apples are soft and stewed to a chunky consistency.
  5. Once cooked, serve warm or let cool, then transfer to jars or containers and refrigerate or freeze.
